What Having Big Faith Looks Like

FAITH CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS

Hello Everyone! I hope you all are having the absolute best day, no matter what day/time it is when you read this. I shared a bit about this topic on social media the other day and want to add it here as well. Let’s talk about having BIG FAITH.

There are so many examples in the Bible of people who are in desperate need of healing, provision, saving, etc. A few examples of those are:

  • A man with leprosy in need of physical healing (Luke 5: 12-14; Luke 17:11-19)

  • A woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25-34)

  • A father who’s daughter was dying (Mark 5: beginning in verse 21; overlapping with the story of the woman with the blood issue)

  • A paralyzed man wishing to walk again (Luke 5: 17-20)

These people knew that if they just got to Jesus, he could make them whole again. That made me say to myself “Hmmm. How many things are we holding ourselves back from by not having that same amount of faith? Our faith truly can activate what God can do. It’s like a plug!

However, there are times when we forget this. We might think “Oh, it’s just me.” or “I can’t start that business” or “I’ll never be well.” or “I don’t deserve this.”

Let me come here and remind you that YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD! He wants to bless our lives. He wants us to move forward. It’s really for His glory in the end! Think about all of the things you have been praying for. Now ask yourself if you’ve been thinking big or if you’ve been thinking with doubt.

Jesus says in Luke 17: 6 “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.”

Know that God can do it and that it’s our faith that can truly activate that dream, or that healing, or that provision, or that goal. If you’re doubting yourself, know that there are plenty of examples in the Bible that exhibit this and they all apply to us too!

If you have a story where you’ve seen God make BIG moves in your life, let me know in the comments! I love to hear the stories!

Love yall!
