I’m currently reading through Romans and have been inspired by so much that I’ve come across. One of those times was today when I read Romans 4:20-21 which says:

“Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promises. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.”

Hey Hey Friends! It’s been a little while since I posted a blog post here but am grateful to be back in the space! So I just got back from a road trip and am reminded of something that happened a few years ago while I was driving.

I was on my way to Nashville, TN and knew my way pretty well. Even so, I still connect my GPS, just in case. You know how your GPS will propose a new route when there’s an accident or heavy traffic coming?

Alright…Let’s get real about something. Is there something you’ve been trying to work on within yourself, but you feel like you keep failing? Do you feel like you fall into the same sin? You try and try and try, but you find yourself back in the same scenario over and over again?

So the other day I was doing my devos, which is just spending time with God, and came across a verse that I’ve read many times and am sure you may have heard. It was 1 John 4: 4: “You, dear children, are from God, and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”

See, none of us are perfect. We all fall victim to the devil’s schemes and tricks which could lead to us hurting other people. We’ve all been victim to it and also are likely the ones who hurt others too.

Do you have a place where you feel the closest to God? I do! Mine is definitely when I am traveling. Everything just seems so vast! I am literally in awe every time- whether I’m on a plane or in a car. Even the thought of our ability to get from one place to another based on creations and advancements wows me.

There’s no better person to help another person who’s going through what you went through than YOU. I used an example of going through a weather storm, but we all have very real storms. Some of these have almost broken us, but yet here we are! If we tell our stories and how God brought us through it, it will help others have peace in theirs as well.
